Board Certified in Acupuncture
Dr. Martin Booth is the owner of Ormond Beach Chiropractic and is dedicated to helping patients improve their health, mobility, and overall quality of life through comprehensive chiropractic care.
Dr. Booth began his healthcare career in Emergency Medical Services during his senior year of high school. That early experience caring for people during critical situations sparked a lifelong commitment to helping others improve their health and well-being.
His passion for health and performance also extended into athletics. As an endurance athlete who competed in triathlons, including Ironman-level events, Dr. Booth developed a deep appreciation for how the body functions under stress and how proper recovery and biomechanics are essential for long-term health.
Dr. Booth earned his Bachelor of Science degree before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He later continued his academic training and earned a Master of Science in Health Psychology from National University, where he focused on understanding how behavior, stress, mindset, and lifestyle factors influence physical health and recovery.
This background in health psychology allows Dr. Booth to approach patient care from a broader perspective. In addition to evaluating structural and biomechanical issues, he considers how stress, lifestyle habits, and behavioral patterns can influence pain, healing, and overall health. By understanding the psychological and behavioral components of health, Dr. Booth is able to help patients develop more sustainable strategies for recovery and long-term wellness.
At Ormond Beach Chiropractic, Dr. Booth focuses on identifying the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction rather than simply addressing symptoms. Each patient receives a thorough evaluation and a personalized care plan designed to restore proper movement, reduce pain, and improve overall function.
Dr. Booth is also board certified in acupuncture, which allows him to integrate additional treatment options that support the body’s natural healing processes. By combining chiropractic care with acupuncture and other therapeutic approaches when appropriate, he is able to address both structural and neuromuscular factors that contribute to pain and dysfunction.
In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Booth has served as a professor at Palmer College of Chiropractic, teaching courses including Health Psychology, Professional Ethics and Communication, cardiopulmonary assessment, and radiology. His teaching experience reflects his commitment to advancing the profession and helping future healthcare providers develop strong clinical and ethical foundations.
Dr. Booth believes patient education is one of the most important parts of effective healthcare. He takes time to explain findings clearly and help patients understand the underlying causes of their condition so they can make informed decisions about their care.
His goal is simple: to help patients move better, feel better, and regain the ability to do the things that bring meaning and enjoyment to their lives.
